Belize Medical Missions

Belize is a small country approximately the size of
Massachusetts, located in Central America south of the
Yucatan Peninsula. The country has a population of 300,000
people, 40% of which are below the age of 15.
Health care for these people is virtually non-existent. FRP
hopes to aide in this current crisis and bring a new hope to
the people of Belize for a brighter, healthier future.

In June of 2007, FRP will travel to
Belize City, Belize to begin the process
of establishing a medical/dental
mission. We will spend a week there working with governmental,
religious and scholastic leaders to determine exactly what types
of needs should be addressed. We will also scout out areas that
would be ideal housing and clinic locations for when this mission
becomes a frequent endeavor. Our hopes for the future are to
establish several charitable clinics, and several times a year
send volunteer teams to carry out different types of mission
work. Along with medical and dental care, educational
assistance and more adequate housing development are areas
in which we hope to help the people of this poor country.
