| Founded in the wake of Hurricane Katrina by two physicians who responded to the medical needs of the evacuees from New Orleans, FRP hopes to bridge the gap of patient care from the time of catastrophe to the arrival of federal aide. |
| FRP will send a self-sustained mobile medical unit to the affected area, staffed with licensed medical personnel. These mobile clinics will provide the necessary medical care that is needed in times of disaster. |

individuals who have been displaced due to a catastrophe, such
as hurricane victims, tornado victims, and victims of terrorist
